When was the last time you took a deep breath, looked around and really felt present? Especially for those of us who spend a lot of time in the digital space, it can seem overwhelming to think about how much of the present moment we spend ruminating on the past or passion about the future.

According to Buddhist philosophy, explained by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, a large part of our current emotional setbacks comes from living too much in the past or in the future. The antidote to this, of course, is to find more ways to live in the moment.
